Developher 2015, Linkedin’s Women’s Hackday

As engineers, we constantly innovate, iterate and ultimately, strive to develop things that have an impact on the world. To provide women engineers with a platform to explore their entrepreneurial ideas, we’re proud to announce Linkedin’s annual DevelopHer Hackday Aug 28-29 at LinkedIn's Sunnyvale office. Registration opens today.

The theme for this year’s hack day is Empowering Women, and it’s an opportunity for engineers to brainstorm and build unique hacks to help women develop new ventures, gain financial independence or anything that addresses safety and security, family and wellness, or the gender gap in technology. The possibilities are endless and it doesn’t matter if you’re an experienced or novice hacker, working at a startup or a student entering college, all are welcome.

This year we’ve assembled an exclusive panel of judges to review and give feedback to our hackers. These judges are well-known for their professional achievements and helping to support and inspire the ever growing community of technical women.

And last but not least, the DevelopHer hack day will feature delicious food, yoga sessions, fun swag, awesome prizes, and an environment full of inspiring women.
