Calling All Tech Interns - The LinkedIn Intern Hackday is Coming!

Are you interning at a tech company this summer as a computer guru or designer? If so, come join us for the 5th annual LinkedIn Intern Hackday from Friday, July 17th to Saturday, July 18th at the LinkedIn Headquarters in Mountain View, CA. You can develop a mobile app, create a game or build something entirely new. This is a hackday, so you can create anything you dream up! The LinkedIn Intern Hackday is the perfect opportunity to turn something you are passionate about into a working prototype. You can work on an idea that you've been toying with or build something with a new language, technology or framework. Over the course of the 24 hour hackday, you’ll have the chance to build something, compete for cool prizes, get some LinkedIn swag, and network with fellow Bay Area interns.

The theme for this year’s hackday event is “The Lego Movie.”

As a participant of the hackathon, you’ll have the opportunity to build an awesome product by leveraging the “building blocks” available to you - Javascript, HTML, CSS, Java, etc. The only limit is your imagination! Please note that the hack does NOT need to be related to LinkedIn or “The Lego Movie” in any way.

The interns who create the best hack will win a $10,000 scholarship. Runners-up will also take home some awesome prizes.
